Wild Swimming – Why?

It taught me that as humans, we are so much stronger than we think.

It taught me to stop caring about what other people think.

It taught me that anything can be healed by water – from hangovers, migraines, to aches and pains, as well as heart ache.

It taught me that consumerism is unneccesary. We have everything that we need already. Inside us. Our bodies are amazing.

It taught me that breath can regulate body temperature, moods, energy levels.

It taught me that so much in life is about attitude and mindset.

It taught me that nature is humbling and puts the ego back in its place.

It taught me that, in the water, we are all the same.

It taught me that there is a very fine line between pain and joy.

It taught me that it’s not about being the fastest, but about slowing down.

It taught me that the best things in life are free.

It taught me so much more about the relationship with myself and with others.

It taught me that we are drawn to water, because our human bodies are 80% water.
